Bombadil is a pop rock band originally from Durham, North Carolina which has released nine albums and three EPs and toured across the world. Their melodic sound incorporates vocal harmonies, guitar, drums, clarinet, synthesizers and various effects. For the last two years, the band has toured with contemporary dancer Madison Via Rivis who has choreographed movements for herself and the band. During the show, the three members move between playing instruments and dancing. Their new album, The Moon in the Backyard, was a close collaboration with Rivis, the material developed for an evening length performance of story, song and dance.
